Hippo Hollow Farms

Hippo Hollow Farms are tucked away on 165 acres between Spring Hill and Columbia TN. Owned and operated by Joe and Adele Prinsloo where they have duplicated the farming model of Polyface Farms Virginia operated by Joel and Daniel Salatin. Using sustainable agriculture practices and healing the land one move at a time, by using multi-species intensive grazing techniques. By replicating the grazing practices of the buffalo in the Serengeti, the land and ecosystems are healed and will be restored letting nature do what it was created to do and in return, we produce healthy meat and eggs from healthy happy animals. As part of our effort to help educate the next generation of farmers, Hippo Hollow Farms offer summer internships and year-long apprenticeships.
